Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) - Penticton

Provided by Interior Health

The Penticton Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) provides team-based care for non-emergency health concerns to individuals in Penticton who require same day attention.
Care is available for concerns such as:
  • Minor injuries
  • Sprains and strains
  • Infections
  • Less serious child illness and injury
  • High fever
  • Cuts, wounds or skin conditions

You may see one or more of the following health professionals depending on your care needs: physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, respiratory therapists and medical office assistants. Patients will be able to see health-care providers other than a physician if their medical needs are more suited to another member of the team.

UPCC patients are seen based on urgency, not on a first come first serve basis. While we don't book appointments, we recommend you phone us at 250-770-3696 and talk to one of our registered nurses prior to coming in to the UPCC.
